Dear Friends of Oak Tree Ministries –
“This is the best day of my whole life!”
Those words came at the end of a Zoom ministry session … she’d been horribly abused in her childhood and youth. Sold and re-sold to people who did what they wanted to her. And the people around her told her she could never get to heaven because of everything “she did.” They even cut marks into her to prove it. She never chose any of it. She hated it. But she believed them.
Until Jesus began talking to her. And He told her “You’re welcome with Me. I want you with Me.” And He touched the marks with His own wounded hands and they changed at His touch. The shame melted, and the condemnation left. After a lifetime believing she could never be close to God, never be accepted by Him, He brought her into His own Kingdom. She sobbed for several minutes, then looked up at me … “This is the best day of my whole life!”
It’s always an honor and privilege to work with people’s hearts. Our ministry purpose is “… bringing the healing and restoring presence of Jesus.” Moments like those above make ministry totally worth it!

As we move into this last month of December, please pray with us about the following …
… ministry schedule for the counseling office and HeartSync ministry. I am again taking calls and having to refer or put people on waiting lists. It’s good to be busy, but … there are many, many needs!
… rest! We had a bit of a break last week and realized among all of us (Beth, me, Jen and AJ) how tired we all are. Personally I’m looking forward to a few weeks off at the end of the month.
… a praise! AJ and Ashley were able to finally reach an agreement about visitation and custody. Papers have been filed with the court and there is a status hearing this morning that should finalize the agreement. And all the financial arrangements are done. Please pray with us for the kids as they adjust again to more travel back and forth from Redding to Antioch for visits with their mom. Thank you for praying with us about all this over the last several months.
… Delta Healing Rooms had to move back to phone and virtual ministry due to the latest surge in Covid19 cases. Pray with us that we can effectively meet needs for healing! God has been good and has honored what we have been doing … but we look forward to being able to minister face to face again!
And finally, thank you for loving us and supporting us with your prayers, and many with finances as well. Each gift of time before God and help with finances goes to help us help others. We love you and pray for you, too! May this season of celebration of God’s presence with us in Jesus’ birth bring you the best days of your life!
