Dear Friends of Oak Tree Ministries –

I think I should have taken out stock in the company that makes kleenex.

I’ve watched so many ministry scenes unfold this past month … and many featured kleenex.

One woman worked though a number of wounds from childhood in a HeartSync, including an early molestation … as she told me “Jesus showed me I won’t be in trouble when I tell Him what’s happened to me,” she handed me a kleenex softball.

A man last weekend had a pile between his feet that grew as we worked … maybe 40 in 40 minutes; his heart had been tended well, but he expected to be unseen and unheard every time he walked into a group or a room. The kleenex pile built up as Jesus got into the space dad and mom never filled, dad because he didn’t want to and mom because she was overwhelmed. Jesus looked deep in his eyes and kept his gaze and repaired deep areas of his brain that needed to know that someone was glad he was there … Jesus certainly was glad!!!

And more … a man who had grown apart from his brother … another man grieving a close family member divorcing a spouse of 47 years … a woman coming to grips with the damage her drinking had done to her children … kleenex. Lots of it. And lots of Jesus.

But there’s these truths …

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalms 30:5b NKJV

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

With the kleenex comes joy … I’m buying stock.

Thank you for praying with us and for us this past month. Your prayers make a difference!

As you pray with us this month, please remember the following …

… give thanks with us for the training weekend in Bozeman, MT last weekend. We had opportunity to teach, to minister to key leaders, and to do a HeartSync demonstration for the leadership of our host church. God shifted things radically in the area! We’re so blessed and excited for what’s to come. Praise God!

… scheduling is becoming an obvious issue for us. It’s definitely not a bad thing, but we are needing to be very aware of staying intentional with our time and commitments. God is definitely speaking to us both about more training! Please pray with us for daily wisdom as people ask for our time.

… pray for our health. Beth is dealing with a respiratory bug of some kind right now, and we’d love to have that be the last for the season!!!

… please keep the whole family in mind as God reminds you … AJ and Ashley, the grandkids Savanah, Aiden, Sophia and Charlotte, and our daughter Jen. We’re especially praying for the grandkids to have deep encounters with God during these next few months.’

We can’t tell you how much we appreciate you all! God encourages us through you regularly. May He bless you with great joy! Pull out the kleenex.
